I’ve been in business since 1987, loving what I do. I’m more than just a stylist, I am a “hair physician.” It takes more than a haircut or color to have a fabulous look. It’s about health, the correct products, tossed in with a little stylist skill. When clients look and feel great about themselves, I feel successful. I work with women, men, and children for all their hair care needs.
Being a cosmetologist was a desire of mine for many years. My mom couldn’t give me a new Barbie without the doll getting a new look soon as I pulled her from the box. Although my mom wouldn’t be very happy, my barbies were STYLIN’!
In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends and listening to live music. I’m a big “foodie” – I love it all! There is always fun to be had.

Being a hairdresser had been my dream for as long as I can remember. As a teenager I made the choice to go to Lubbock High Cosmetology. My dream became reality at the ripe old age of 17. I have been blessed with helping people see not only their outer beauty but their inner beauty, as well, for 29 yrs. Where has the time gone?
My clients walk in as strangers and walk out as FRIENDS!!
I live by the mantra “We will always be friends … you know too much.”
Married to my best friend and high school sweetheart, Dean. We have three amazing boys: Nicholas, Zachary, and Jacob. And one princess: Izabella. In my “free” time I love to read.
“Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.”
Being a salon assistant since the age of 14, following my mom to salons, gave me a passion for hair at a young age. I’ve always loved watching stylists work to transform people and create great relationships with their clients and each other. The support and knowledge I’ve gained in my years working as an assistant with the wonderful work family at Faux Real has solidified my desire to become a hairdresser myself.
When I’m not at the salon I’m spending time with my two beautiful kiddos and my hubby!
“Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.”
I started out in this world of hair and nail design in 2001. Cosmetology was a fit for my creativity. Being creative, inspired, and having fun while making money? Sign me up!
While in cosmetology, I had an instructor who pushed me harder than anyone has. She was seeing my potential, doing her job of pushing me out of my box and helping me become more creative. She helped me grow in my passion and inspired me to keep learning. Her words: “If you ever start to think you have learned it all, pack up your stuff, you’re done.” At the end of the year, she offered me a job in her salon, where I grew as a hair stylist and nail designer. I’m living the dream of being a part of a creative team, meeting new people, and building lasting relationships, all while getting to express my individuality.
In my free time … Who am I kidding, I have 3 boys. My world revolves around those three. I hope to share with them my love of making the world a little more colorful. I am watching them become strong-willed young men who will make a huge difference in a world that’s not always sunshine and rainbows.

A Professional Hair Designer!
I started this crazy journey in 2007 thinking that I wanted to be a psychologist, but that was a little to tame for me. Little did I know that I would ultimately become a psychologist with scissors.
I am down to earth, take you as you are, judgement free, and happy to be daring when you want to go a little crazy. My goal for any client is for them to feel awesome inside and out.
Along with the regular services I also offer dreads, Affirm Relaxers, Chi Smoothing Treatment and Brazilian Blowouts.

Stylist/Make up Artist/Micro Blading Professional
My career, as a cosmetologist, began in 2012, but I’ve really been doing hair since junior high school. I was the girl my classmates called on when they wanted a new do or makeup tips.
Now, I pride myself in being an artist, whether my medium is hair or skin. I love what I do and love teaching my friends how to care for there skin and hair. I love using my tools to change the way a person feels about themselves. I want everyone to feel beautiful when they leave my chair.
When I am not busy beautifying the world, I am spending time with family and friends. I also love to read and crochet.

In 2003 I discovered my passion for hair when I enrolled in the South Plains College Cosmetology program. That passion has only grown with time. My hair philosophy is to create beautiful styles through advanced technical skills as well as strong interpersonal relationships. I believe that knowing about my clients lives allows me to create something that meets all of their needs.
Outside of the salon, I enjoy being a mom of one, as well as soaking up Lubbock’s art and culture. In the future I hope to travel more and see the world.
